Public land hunting, in general, can make for the most challenging hunting experiences one could ever desire. This past Fall Randall Hill, Matt Odefey, James Barnette and I headed to SW Montana and endless public land and elusive elk. We hiked over 100 miles and hit 7 different mountain peaks.
